“Imago Dei” is a Latin term meaning “Image of God,” rooted in Genesis 1:27, which tells us that every person is created in God’s image. At Imago Dei Therapy, we believe every person carries inherent worth, dignity, and purpose. Life’s challenges, whether anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or relational struggles, can cloud that truth, but they do not erase it. Our work is grounded in the belief that healing involves not just symptom relief but restoration of identity,
hope, and meaning.

We provide Christ-centered mental health counseling across Florida through secure virtual sessions, allowing you to receive care from the comfort of your home. Our approach integrates evidence- based therapeutic practices with a faith-informed perspective, honoring both clinical excellence and spiritual values.

    Hi! I’m Alexis, a licensed clinician dedicated to helping you find
    peace, heal from past wounds, and walk in your God-given
    purpose. I specialize in EMDR therapy and other evidence-based
    approaches to support you through the complexities of life. Imago
    Dei Counseling is both a memorial and a mission. When suicide
    claimed the life of a beloved friend and colleague, this practice was
    formed to honor her legacy. I aim to help you heal past wounds,
    restore hope, and walk in the authority and purpose God designed
    for you. I hope you allow me to walk this journey with you!
